Our History:

Born out of their passion for children, Larry and Jackie Bebo founded AAC in 1994. Mr. and Mrs. Bebo began their family with two biological children and then opened their hearts and home to 28 adopted children from many different cultural backgrounds. Through the process of their own adoptions, the Bebos observed a need for a family-focused and personal adoption agency in Colorado.

AAC specializes in China and Korea adoptions, bringing children and parents together to create forever families. We purposely maintain a small, family-oriented atmosphere and provide quality, personalized service. The staff at AAC is comprised of individuals with personal adoption experiences who are anxious to professionally and considerately serve our adoptive families.

AAC is a full service adoption agency and provides family support through every step of the adoption process. We offer prospective families free one-on-one informational meetings to thoroughly discuss the adoption process and answer initial questions. Once a family has decided to pursue adoption, we offer Adoption Core training to families in Colorado. Our Adoption Education Coordinator, Lisa Blank, facilitates sessions on topics such as Attachment and Bonding, Understanding Adoption Law, and Parenting Special Needs Children, along with other issues of critical concern to adoptive parents.

Following adoption finalization, we encourage post-adoptive support through local bi-monthly family gatherings and annual events throughout the country.

China

Unlike other agencies, AAC directly manages the certification and authentication of dossier documents for China adoptions, and our Case Managers are always available to assist families through the intricacies of the paperwork process.  AAC also provides a knowledgeable facilitator in China to help guide families through the travel process by managing airport transfers, hotel accommodations, and tours of interest in their child's province. When finalizing adoptions, AAC assists local families with court finalization and validation.

Korea

Our Korea Adoption Program is in cooperation with Eastern Social Welfare Society in Seoul, Korea. AAC staff members make several visits to Korea each year. We also host an annual Homeland "Taste of Korea" Tour for adoptive families.  Our Executive Manager, Christie Lasko, is a Korea native and leads these tours, facilitating translations and foreign relations.

Special Needs Programs

AAC is authorized to work with families in all states for the placement of children with special needs.  Profiles of our "Waiting Children" may be viewed here on our website.

AAC also participates in humanitarian aid in both countries.  We offer a sponsorship program for children with special needs, and provide financial support to Eastern's Unwed Mother's homes, rehabilitation centers, and orphanages for unadoptable children. Our agency also support programs through CCCWA such as the Tomorrow Plan and the Blue Sky Project.

Let our Dedication, Professionalism, and Compassion Contribute to Your Efficient, Family-Centered Adoption.
