Korea Program

For a Healthy Infant:

1. Must be at least 25 and no older than 42 - for a female child and no older than 43 - for a male child. (Age at the time of application)
2. Must be married a minimum of three years.
3. Most parents reside in Colorado, Utah, and Nevada. California and Wyoming will be easier to get permission from Korea. We can work with other states close by on an individual basis.
4. May have no more than four children at home.
5. There is a weight requirement for parents please call A.A.C.
6. You are not required to travel to Korea; baby will be escorted to the United States, if you choose.
7. The adoption is finalized in the United States. A petition for finalization usually takes about six months. AAC will petition the court for Colorado families. Post placement period is six-months.
8. Fees are roughly $24,000 for adoptions.

For a waiting or minor special needs child:

1. Able to place in all states. (Permission basis)
2. Ages of parents can be older than 45. (Permission basis)
3. Fees may be reduced.
