WAITING CHILDREN FROM CHINA-
In April 2010, AAC had the pleasure of hosting a Journey of Hope program for 30 children from the Guangdong province. Staff from our agency traveled to China where we spent a fun filled two days with these children. We were able to get to know the children's personalities, take photos and videos of the children, and interview them along with their care takers. This opportunity provided us with a wealth of information to give to prospective adoptive parents. Listed below are descriptions of the children who are still waiting to find their families. AAC also has access to China Center for Adoption Affairs' "Shared List" of waiting children. The children on this list range in age from 1-13. Their medical conditions vary greatly. Some are very minor and some are more serious. Currently there are over 1,500 waiting children on this list. COULD YOUR CHILD BE LISTED THERE?
WAITING CHILDREN FROM KOREA-
Waiting children from Korea are typically infants and toddlers between the age of 5 months 3 years. These children may be placed with families in any state unless otherwise noted. Below is a list of children who are currently waiting for their forever family to find them. Children from this program are often placed quickly so we encourage you to check back often.

If you are interesed in a specific child, be sure to mention the child's name in the comments section. If you are unable to process the application through the website, you may fax the application to (970) 532-9879. THE $25 FEE IS WAIVED. Our desire for these children is that they find their forever families.
If you are a current family with AAC, it is unnecessary to fill out the pre-application. Please call or email us with your request.
GRANT AVAILABILITY-
AAC has received a very generous donation from an anonymous adoptive family. This will be used as grant money to help with the placement of waiting children.
Due to the high interest in our waiting children, please understand we will process your request for information as soon as we can. It may take 24 to 48 hours.
