China Center of Children's Welfare and Adoption (CCCWA): Known formerly as the China Center of Adoption Affairs (CCAA), the CCCWA is a unit of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, which has responsibility for all of the Child Welfare Institutes (orphanages) in China. It is responsible for all international adoptions and receives and processes all of the paperwork to and from adoption agencies in other countries.
